## Your tasks ##
Are you interested in software development and contributing to open-source projects? Do you want hands-on experience writing production ready code to improve the operation of scientific instruments?
We are looking for a Summer Student to join our team ( https://www.psi.ch/en/awi) and help improve the feature set of the remote desktop server we use: xrdp ( https://www.xrdp.org/).
Your tasks will be:
* Develop new and improve features for xrdp and potentially contribute to the upstream xrdp codebase
* Work closely with experienced engineers and learn real world IT best practices
* Learn to contribute to open-source projects
## Your profile ##
* Everyone who is proficient in writing code in C
* You have a good working knowledge of English
If you are a student with C programming experience and an interest in contributing to open-source projects, we want to hear from you!
