About the Company:
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development & manufacturing of vertical takeoff & landing (VTOL) systems of up to 500 kilograms. The company offers industry leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles, such as Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection or Mapping & Cargo.
Key Tasks:
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA’s UAV systems at client locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Provide comprehensive training to clients on the operation and maintenance of UAV systems.
Travel extensively, both locally and internationally, to support customers in different locations.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all field operations.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities, including issues encountered, solutions implemented, and progress reports.
Other Tasks:
Assist in the development of service manuals and training manuals.
Coordinate with internal teams to address customer needs effectively.
Identify and suggest process improvements for better service delivery while collaborating with the engineering team to relay client feedback.
Competencies & Duties:
Work independently and responsibly. Perform assigned tasks as described above.
Compliance according to ANAVIA’s employment contract, compliance with company’s safety instructions and employee safety requirements, compliance with employer’s quality manual, work instructions and corresponding process specifications and instructions.
Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services.
International travel required of up to 40% of employee’s working hours.
Qualifications:
Completed higher education (e.g., ETH, HTL) certification in electronics, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
At a minimum 5 years’ experience in an aviation maintenance or a field service representative role.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electronic issues.
High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
Responsible. Excellent communication skills. High social skills and good analytical and technical understanding with the ability to train and support clients effectively.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software applications relevant to UAV systems.
Solid computer skills and ERP knowledge.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer targets and positive customer feedback. Excellent active listening and probing skills.
Strong language skills in English (oral and written). German and/or other languages desirable.
