Your responsibilities
* Conduct literature reviews and analyze quantitative research data.
* Curate, wrangle and integrate biological and clinical datasets.
* Work with OMICS data from NGS, metabolomics, proteomics to extract meaningful insights.
* Implement, test and optimize methods such as Variational Autoencoders (VAE).
* Perform advanced neural network and statistical analyses using PyTorch, Python and R.
* Generate a scientific report and documentation based on your research findings.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary research team and participate in ongoing research.
Your profile
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Biostatistics, or a related field.
* Strong background in biological or clinical data analysis, and quantitative research.
* Proficient in Python, with experience in data science (PyTorch) and machine learning.
* Comfortable working with OMICS data, including NGS, metabolomics, and proteomics.
* Knowledge of command-line tools and Linux-based workflows is plus.
* Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when necessary.
* Strong scientific communication skills and ability to write structured reports.
