In this temporary project mode role you will be responsible for support and advise our Global HSSE organization, in Group HSSE Function.
Reporting to the CEO and functionally to the Group HSE/SA Manager , you will act as a key advisor for following responsibilities.
Your responsibilities:
Global ESSH Program Coordination
Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of global environmental, safety, health, and sustainability programs across multiple regions.
Support and ensure ESSH strategies are consistent with company goals and regulatory requirements in all operating regions.
Under supervision work with regional ESSH managers to ensure alignment of regional initiatives with global corporate standards.
Regulatory Compliance Management
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental, safety, health, and sustainability regulations across the company’s global operations.
Stay updated on changes in ESSH-related legislation and regulations, communicating necessary changes to local teams and implementing updates to policies and procedures.
Prepare and manage compliance documentation, including permits, reports, and certifications, for various regulatory agencies.
Health and Safety Oversight
Promote the implementation of best practices in occupational health and safety (OHS) across global operations, aligning with international standards such as ISO 45001.
Facilitate the investigation of safety incidents and near-misses and coordinate corrective actions globally.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with regional and local teams to ensure that ESSH practices are integrated into operational activities, product development, and business strategies.
Coordinate with legal, compliance, risk management, and operations teams to ensure global alignment on ESSH matters.
Serve as a liaison between corporate leadership and local operations to ensure effective communication of ESSH goals and initiatives.
Training, Awareness, and Capacity Building
Develop and roll out global ESSH training programs that help employees at all levels understand their roles in maintaining environmental, safety, and health standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee engagement and participation in ESSH initiatives.
ESSH Audits and Inspections
Coordinate global ESSH audits and inspections, ensuring that operations are meeting internal and external safety, health, environmental, and sustainability standards.
Lead the preparation for audits and ensure the timely completion of corrective actions identified during audits.
Track and report audit results, identifying trends and areas for improvement in global operations.
Incident Management and Reporting
Oversee global incident management systems, ensuring that incidents (e.g., safety accidents, environmental spills) are properly reported, investigated, and resolved.
Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented globally, reducing the likelihood of recurrence.
Track and report on ESSH incidents and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
Propose and advise on plans with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, NGOs, customers, and industry associations, to stay informed on ESSH trends and best practices.
Support global stakeholder communication on ESSH matters, including contributing to public sustainability reports and other external disclosures.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Lead the identification of best practices and innovative solutions to improve the company’s ESSH performance globally.
Promote the adoption of new technologies or processes that enhance sustainability and safety efforts.
Evaluate opportunities for cost-effective sustainability initiatives and work to implement new systems, tools, and practices that advance global ESSH goals.
Your background:
Experimented Engineer or Master Engineering especially mechanical and fluid, with focus on maintenance and service manufacturing environment.
Experience in global EHS strategies roll-out and implementation in a multicultural and -site environment.
Proven experience in Nuclear and Hazardous environment especially in Power and Energy Businesses.
Proven experience more than 7 years in manufacturing of turbo generators, frequency changers, motors switchgear and transformers.
Working in a decentralized organization with multi-sites.
Proven track record in health and safety regulations more than 10 years in different world regions (e.g: EMEA, APAC, Americas.).
Proven experience more than 7 years in Project management in highly complex service and manufacturing network landscapes.
