We are looking for a student assistant with web scraping experience to help us on several scraping projects. The starting date is as soon as possible.

## Job description ##

You will develop and implement web scraping solutions to collect data from websites, including ones with anti-bot mechanisms. This involves designing efficient scraping strategies, preprocessing collected data into structured formats, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all activities comply with ethical guidelines. You'll work closely with our research team to ensure the data meets project requirements. We handle working time flexibly so that you can take time to prepare for exams or fulfill other study obligations. The salary will be CHF 30.70/h.

## Profile ##

* Currently enrolled as a student at ETH Zurich or another university
* Languages: German or English
* Demonstrated experience with web scraping (including websites with anti-bot mechanisms) using Python
* Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of JavaScript
* Knowledge of ethical considerations in web scraping and data collection
